On November 30, 2007, an affiliate of Meritage partnered with Mountain Development Corp., to acquire Valley Forge Corporate Center I & II, located at 2500 & 2600 Monroe Boulevard in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Valley Forge I & II, 118,380 square feet in aggregate, are located immediately northwest of Philadelphia in Montgomery County, the largest suburban employment center in Greater Philadelphia.
The current ownership secured a significant lease extension with the high credit tenant in the 2600 building, which now serves as mission critical headquarters under a long-term net lease as part of a five-building campus. At the 2500 building, the Partnership completed a full aesthetic upgrade to the lobby and two-story atrium at 2500 Monroe in 2012, paving the way for a substantial lease at this building with an established small cap enterprise in the health services industry that has recently been acquired by a leading managed care provider.
2500 and 2600 Monroe Boulevard are situated at the entryway to the entire Valley Forge Corporate Center, which has been the focus of on-going improvement and investment by the Lower Providence Township. The office park is located a few miles from the King of Prussia super regional mall and within 30 minutes of downtown Philadelphia
